Beyonce set to fire cheating father

Beyonce Knowles' relationship with her father is so bad, she may end up firing him as her manager, according to reports. The singer is refusing to speak to Matthew Knowles after discovering he fathered a child with a much younger woman while still married to her mother, Tina. The New York Post claims Beyonce's record label, Columbia, is worried about the rift. Matthew has guided his daughter's career since her days in Destiny's Child.
A source says: "Beyonce was horrified to find out her dad cheated on her mum. She always looked up to him, and she is very close to her mum, so this has hit her really hard. She is refusing to speak to him, which is making things difficult when it comes to managing her career. Some people at Columbia now think it would be better to move him aside."
But a representative for Beyonce says there is "no merit" to the claims. Matthew Knowles had an 18-month affair with branding executive Alexsandra Wright during his 29-year marriage. Tina Knowles filed for divorce last November.
