London: Rapper Jay Z and wife Beyonce are reportedly not pleased with socialite Kim Kardashian`s comments about Rita Ora.

Ora, 21, is a member of Jay-Z`s record label company Roc Nation and is dating Kardashian`s younger brother Rob and Kardashian recently tweeted about her brother`s need to have a good girl in his life, reported Sun online.

"Jay-Z and Beyonce aren`t impressed either since she tweeted about her brother Rob needing a good woman ? even though he`s dating Jay`s Roc Nation singer Rita Ora. "She can`t resist self-promotion. She even turned her condolences over hip-hop manager Chris Lighty passing away into a plug for a perfume they worked on together," a source said.

The American pop star is chalking out her schedule to make a trip late this year to promote her fashion line House Of Dereon that has been launched in India on the portal www.rock.in. “Beyoncé is keen to come down. The dates and the cities she will visit are still in the planning stage,” says an insider.

Knowles, on her part, can’t wait to get a taste of the country after her last visit in 2007. “I am glad to showcase my collection to the Indian audience. I am very fond of Indian style, in fact during my last visit, I shopped a lot from India. However, I found the food to be very spicy because of the exotic spices,” she says. Suraj Sharma, CEO  of the portal confirms the news and says, “We are excited about the association.”

The I Was Here singer is said to be planning an 'epic' performance, details of which are being kept top secret. The Made in America festival in Philadelphia is to be held on the first weekend of September and boasts a line-up of stars including Drake and Run-DMC, with Pearl Jam set to close the festival.

Rita Ora and Calvin Harris are also down to perform. The festival is being held in the middle of a tree-lined boulevard in the city, with construction of the stages already underway. It is anticipated that the festival will pull in crowds of about 100,000 over the two days, according to the Huffington Post. Jay-Z is also planning to have the festival filmed as part of a feature film documentary being made about him. Da Vinci Code director Ron Howard and producer Brian Grazer have been secured to shoot the festival so the footage can be used in the film.

Actor Bradley Cooper rubbished reports that he will romance singer Beyonce Knowles in the remake of A Star Is Born. Filmmaker Clint Eastwood will direct the remake of a young star who falls in love with an older musician mentor. “Me in A Star is Born? I have no idea what you’re  talking about,” he told Chicago Sun-Times.

Beyonce Knowles looks stunning in the latest ads for House of Dereon’s Fall 2012 collection. The superstar, who co-designs the line with her mother Tina Knowles, rocks a stylish fedora and some curve-hugging clothes in the print ads, which show the singer strutting her stuff on the beach.

Despite the serene location, Beyonce gives off a very rock n’roll feel wearing a leather bomber jacket and sheer leopard-print maxi-skirt in one photo, and an edgy leather moto vest with high-waisted print harem pants in another.

B’s favourite circle The Row for Linda Farrow sunglasses even make an appearance, paired with a body-con black dress with cutout detailing. I’m curious as to whether these revealing shots were taken before or after her pregnancy – it would not surprise me one bit to find out that this is her post-baby bod. This is Beyonce, after all.

Beyonce Knowles debuted a music video for her single "I Was Here" written by Diane Warren to celebrate World Humanitarian Day. Wearing a white long dress with her hair neatly pulled back, she stood tall on stage of the UN General Assembly delivering a powerful performance in front of live audience.

Footage of the globe with outer-space backdrop appeared on a huge screen behind the Queen Bey as she belted out the inspiring lyrics. The constellation burst into lights and then showed humanitarian works across the globe "to inspire people all over the world to do something good, no matter how big or small, for someone else."

"I'd like to ask everyone to make sure they're a part of August 19," the wife of Jay-Z told the crowd at the end of her poignant performance. "It's such a beautiful, beautiful day, and I'd like to honor the 22 people who lost their lives. God bless you all, thank you so much for having me," she referred to the 2003 tragic incident at Iraq's Canal Hotel.

When asked why she got involved in the campaign, Beyonce told Anderson Cooper in an interview segment, "I found out that 22 people lost their lives helping people in Baghdad and I thought it was such an incredible thing to turn that into something positive and try to include the world in doing something great for someone else."

" 'I Was Here' says, 'I want to leave my footprints in the sands of time,' and it's basically all of our dreams [about] leaving our mark on the world," she continued. "We all want to know that our life meant something and that we did something for someone else and that we spread positivity, no matter how big or how small."

So much for the idea that Beyonce is not socially responsible. The singer sat down with CNN’s Anderson Cooper to discuss her song ‘I Was Here,’ which she has dedicated to World Humanitarian Day (Aug. 19), a day when the United Nations urges everyone to consider helping others around the globe who are suffering.

“We all want to know that our life meant something and that we did something for someone else, and that we spread positivity, no matter how big or how small, so the song was perfect for Humanitarian Day,” Bey said of the track, which appeared on her ’4′ album and has become the official anthem of this year’s event.

In ‘I Was Here,’ Beyonce sings, “I want to say I lived each day until I died / And know that I meant something in somebody’s life / The hearts I have touched will be the proof that I leave / That I made a difference and this world will see / I was here, I lived, I loved.”

She was interviewed with U.N. under-secretary-general and emergency relief coordinator Valerie Amos. Beyonce said she was committed to doing something simple everyday to help someone and offered suggestions for what the average person can do, such as “feeding the homeless, giving your coat to someone who needs it, helping the elderly cross the street.”

Beyonce filmed a video for ‘I Was Here’ at the United Nations and will premiere the video on Sunday to celebrate the occasion. This year’s goal of World Humanitarian Day is to reach one billion people around the world with messages of hope sent via social media.

Earlier this month, music icon Harry Belafonte criticized Beyoncé Knowles and her husband, rapper Jay-Z, for allegedly failing to use their star power to give back to the world. Harry told The Hollywood Reporter that Jay-Z and Beyoncé "turned their back on social responsibility.”

According to the Wall Street Journal’s blog ‘Speakeasy,’ Beyoncé’s camp responded yesterday with what they are calling an “abbreviated list of the unselfish work Beyoncé has done and continues to do.” The compilation chronicled the entertainment icon’s recent charitable endeavors.

The list included B’s visit to the UN to help mark World Humanitarian Day (August 19) where she helped honor the humanitarian workers of the world. Her camp also highlighted her 2008 donation of $100k that went toward relief for Hurricane Ike victims. That's not all. Beyoncé also performed in and donated to MTV’s “Hope for Haiti Now” benefit concert.

In addition to her multiple donations of both money and time, Bey also co-founded the Survivor Foundation, a Community outreach organization in Houston, TX. Forbes lists the singer’s earnings at $40 million so far in 2012, $35 million in 2011 and a staggering $87 million in 2010.

No word yet from Jay-Z’s camp but this is not the first time the rapper’s charitable deficiencies have been called into question. Back in February, www.thegrio.com released a story that the rapper, whose real name is Shawn Carter, reportedly only gave $6k to charity in a year that he reportedly raked in $63 million.

Beyonce Knowles will release her new single on World Humanitarian Day. The 30-year-old singer's next track 'I Was Here' will be released on August 19 to mark the special remembrance day created to honour the victims of the 2003 bombing in Baghdad, Republic of Iraq.

Speaking to the United Nations assembly, Beyonce said: 'We all see the headlines and think, 'What can I really do to help?' 'World Humanitarian Day is an opportunity for all of us to work together to make a difference.'

The video for Beyonce's new hit from her latest album '4' will be a recording of her performance at the United Nations' General Assembly Rooms in New York, the Daily Express newspaper reports. The kind-hearted superstar, who has seven-month-old Blue Ivy Carter with her rap mogul husband Jay-Z, gave a speech in front of a crowd of delegates and politicians as well as special guests Julia Stiles, producer The-Dream and Grammy Award-winning songwriter Diane Warren, who penned the track. The day was created in 2008 to promote humanitarian efforts around the world and encourage others to do the same.
