Across the country from her man on New Year's Eve,  Beyonce performed at a private concert at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. The "Irreplaceable" singer showed off her post-baby bod in a sparkly striped corset top and short shorts with fishnet stockings while entertaining the crowd of 700. Meanwhile, hubby  Jay-Z was back in Brooklyn rapping on stage with Coldplay.

In addition to her mommy duties with Blue Ivy, this year the 31-year-old star will be busy promoting her upcoming album, reportedly set for release in February. Later this month, you can catch the 31 year-old songstress performing at the Super Bowl halftime show where she'll be joined on stage by talented fans who submitted photos of themselves dancing to her music videos.

Fans of football and Beyonce have a big surprise in store for them - the superstar is inviting them to participate in her upcoming Super Bowl half-time show. Beyonce will take center stage at the big game in New Orleans, Louisiana, in February and she put out a casting notice to recruit "enthusiastic volunteers" to join her on the field for the performance.

The ad claims the event will be a "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity" and requires groups of at least 10 members, suggesting the pop star is planning to incorporate a flashmob-style segment in her big gig.

Last year Madonna performed during the half-time show, where she was joined by Cee Lo Green, Nicki Minaj, M.I.A. and LMFAO. In conjunction with her Super Bowl performance, HBO will be airing a documentary about the star in February. The film will provide "raw, unprecedented access to the private entertainment icon and high-voltage performances," according to the network.

The documentary will explore the pop star's childhood in Houston, Texas, and the demands the singer faces as she works in the studio and on stage. It will air on Feb. 16, 2013.

Start planning your wardrobe malfunction because you could have the chance to dance with Beyonce during the Super Bowl halftime show come February. All you have to do is turn over a goofy photo of yourself to Pepsi so they can use it in a commercial. The soda giant will then select 50 winning photos, the subjects of which will be invited to do their best "Single Ladies" routine alongside Bey, and they'll even get to bring a friend. (Hopefully these guys are entering.)

The Super Bowl contest is just the first in what will be many Beyonce/Pepsi cross-promotions now that she's making $50 million to be the spokeswoman for the beverage company. Our only glimpses of little Blue Ivy have come from the couple's limited Instagrams and Tumblr posts, and they were kind enough to grace us with yet another ambiguous photo. Thanks to Bey's blog, we can see she and baby Blue are living the yacht life. Hey look, the little one's got a full head of hair now.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are successful enough that they really don't need to go shopping — many designers would probably gladly send their wares to the couple's Brooklyn home, free of charge. But the couple must not have planned ahead this year, as they were spotted doing some last minute Christmas shopping at New York City standbys FAO Schwarz and Bergdorf Goodman.

It's unclear what Beyoncé and Jay-Z bought, but it's safe to say their daughter Blue Ivy is in for some lavish celebrations. Jay-Z hasn't even bothered to pretend he's not planning to spoil his daughter silly, so we're guessing she'll get at least 3 carats worth of precious gems this go around.

Released just three days ago, the brief clip has already generated enough online controversy that comments are no longer allowed on its YouTube page.

It's worth noting that nowhere in the minute-and-a-half clip does anyone call for the repeal of the second amendment or anything like that — just for immediate attention to the issue. But there are still people who are angry enough over the stars' involvement to call them out on Twitter. Of course there are.

It's not often you hear a bad word said about Beyonce Knowles, but that all changed this weekend when TV presenter Wendy Williams dissed the singer for being unintelligent.

During Wendy’s talk show, which aired on 6 December, she slammed the singer saying Beyonce ‘sounds like she has a fifth-grade education.’ The comment came while Wendy discussed the upcoming documentary on the star's life.

Wendy told her audience: ‘I am a Beyonce fan. I’m going to watch her upcoming documentary, because fortunately one of the TVs in our kitchen has closed captioning, so I'll be able to understand what she says.

‘You know Beyonce can't talk. She sounds like she has a fifth-grade education.’According to Us Weekly this received an angry response forcing Wendy to defend herself adding: ‘Excuse me, I just said I was a fan. But we have to call a spade a spade.'

Beyonce has so far kept a dignified silence and instead spent the weekend at Miami Beach taking fun photos at the Art Basel contemporary art fair. As she playfully posed next to a colourful collection of art, Bey kept all eyes on her, and those incredibly toned legs, in a floral playsuit accentuated with pink patent heels.

She continued to show off her recently restyled locks in the pictures posted on her Instagram account, wearing her hair in a top knot with her fringe perfectly in place. For accessories, Beyonce wore a large bag and played photographer with two cameras. The star was joined by her close friend and former band mate, Kelly Rowland, who also got in on the photo action, playing and posing along.

The duo had spent the previous evening partying with Jay-Z at The Standard Hotel for The Wrinkles of the City Havana Cuba event. Beyonce covered up for the night in a long-sleeved, floor-length dress with metallic lines while her husband wore square-shaped sunnies and a quilted bomber jacket over a white shirt and trousers.

The 31-year-old 'Halo' hitmaker was spotted showing off her long toned pins in a striking floral playsuit in Miami Beach on Saturday as she attended an event. Bey cut a stunning figure in the pretty collared ensemble which showcased her bootylicious curves beautifully as she strolled around the Art Basel contemporary art fair, taking her own snaps of some of the exhibits at the show.

The former Destiny's Child singer played on the quirky cute look by scraping her long blonde locks up into a top knot as she wore her fringe in a block straight style framing her face, adding a pair of pointed nude Louboutin heels and a black and white shoulder bag to complete the outfit.

Beyonce and her rapper hubby Jay-Z had been partying at The Standard Hotel in the Florida City with Beyonce's former bandmate and good pal Kelly Rowland the night before.

Art Basel is an international contemprary art fair featuring special events, galleries, and exhibitions curated by world renowned artists, so we're glad to see that Bey was soaking up a bit of culture – despite baby Blue being nowhere to be seen!

Beyonce Knowles has bought a luxury Hublot watch named the Big Bang - worth a whopping 3 million pounds - as a birthday present for her beloved hubby Jay-Z. The timepiece is studded with 1,282 diamonds.

"Beyonce will always buy Jay the best gifts money can buy. Money is no object to her," the Daily Star quoted a source as saying. "She knew he would love the Hublot Big Bang watch. It's the ultimate timepiece, a mixture of extravagance, luxury and bling.

"Jay Z is a huge watch collector and was very excited when he was given the gift. He can't wait to start flashing it around. It is absolutely stunning. In Beyonce's defence, what do you buy the man who already has everything?" the source added. The superstar couple have a history of spending obscene amounts of money on gifts for each other.
