The fact that a new album by Beyonce Knowles will be released has satisfied the thirst of her fans for the new music. According to The-Dream, , Beyonce Knowles' collaborator, in an interview with Billboard, Beyonce will launch the new music before her Super Bowl halftime show on Feb.3 in New Orleans. "Definitely. She's got her stuff going. She took the summer to start recording, and now she's in a place where she's ready to start gearing up to reveal her plan," said Terius Nash, real name of The-Dream, to Billboard.

The-Dream also discussed details about the upcoming album in which he was "involved in every part of the process". In fact, he co-wrote with Beyonce five songs for Beyonce's lastest album which hit stores in 2011 summer. Since then she has not released any new album. Beside the performance at the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show, the 31-year-old singer will also appear on a new TV documentary on HBO that portraits her life as a singer, recording artist, and parent.

Rap mogul Jay-Z and his wife Beyoncé Knowles-Carter appear ready to churn out some new tunes after recently getting spotted together in a recording studio. According to reports, the happily married couple are clocking in studio time with one of producer Timbaland's artists.

Last week, Jay and Bey sat courtside to watch the Brooklyn Nets take on the local rival New York Knicks. Back in September, Bey watched her hubby perform at his Barclays Center inaugural concert series.

As if Beyoncé joining Instagram wasn't exciting enough, the superstar has been treating fans to impromptu fashion shoots. Channelling her alter ego Sasha Fierce, Beyoncé has been showing off her new edgy look by posting a series of snaps on the social networking site.

Looking less groomed and more street, a blinged up Mrs Jay-Z is totally working her new look as she pouts and snarls her way through the pics. As if she hadn't conquered the world enough, Bey, 31, has also announced she is going to direct and star in a personal documentary that will air on HBO next February.

The fly-on-the-wall documentary will follow Beyoncé backstage at gigs, in the recording studio, as well as giving her fans a glimpse at her home life with husband Jay-Z and daughter Blue Ivy.

Beyonce has conquered the world of music and become mum to baby Blue Ivy - and now she's set to make her directorial debut. The singer will take charge of an 'intimate' tell-all documentary about her life, which will air on American network HBO in February.

Announcing the upcoming film, the network revealed: 'Directed by the superstar, the film is a fusion of video that provides raw, unprecedented access to the private entertainment icon and high-voltage performances.'

Beyonce added she was delighted to be making the documentary. 'This film was so personal to me, she said. 'It had to have the right home.'It's thought the footage, partly shot on her laptop, will show the superstar reflect on 'the realities of celebrity, the refuge she finds onstage and the transcendent joy of becoming a mother last year'.

Everybody knows Beyoncé's music, but few know Beyoncé the person,' Michael Lombardo, president HBO Programming, said. 'Along with electrifying footage of Beyoncé onstage, this unique special looks beyond the glamour to reveal a vibrant, vulnerable, unforgettable woman.'

Since giving birth to baby Blue Ivy last year, the fiercely guarded singer has gradually begun letting fans in on her private life, starting instagram and Tumblr accounts and sharing personal snaps. Over the weekend Beyonce posted several adorable photos of baby Blue Ivy at Thanksgiving, as well as a special message to fans.

This year's Soul Train Awards honored works from top performers such as Beyonce Knowles, Miguel and Elle Varner at the ceremony taking place at Planet Hollywood Live in Las Vegas on Sunday, November 25. Celebrities in the R'n'B and Hip-Hop world including Ne-Yo and Fantasia Barrino also gave performances during the event.

Cedric the Entertainer hosted the evening's festivities, which awarded Beyonce with two trophies for Best R&B/Soul Female Artist and Best Dance Performance, and gave away the Best R&B/Soul Male Artist to "Kaleidoscope Dream" artist Miguel. Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Elle Varner nabbed the Best New Artist award and also gave a wonderful and passionate performance of her song "Refill".

Other great performances of the night came from a medley played by music legend Stevie Wonder, a cover of Aretha Franklin's "Don't Play That Song" by singer Fantasia, and a current hit performance from Ne-Yo of the song "Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself)".

The awards night also honored the musical contributions of R'n'B group New Edition as they were handed the Lifetime Achievement Award. The quintet was formed back in 1978 and was responsible for such hits like "Candy Girl" and "Mr. Telephone Man". A special tribute for the late "Soul Train" creator and host, Don Cornelius, was also conducted that night.

Big names who graced the event included Jamie Foxx, Billy Crystal, Earvin Johnson, "The Vampire Diaries" star Katerina Graham, and English Grammy Award-winning singer Estelle, who was also given the nod for Best International Performance.

And, this afternoon (November 14) the 31-year-old singer posted a gorgeous bikini pic showing off her natural beauty, giving us even more initiative to check out the page. In the stunning pic, the “Irreplaceable” singer dons a blue bikini top and flaunts her makeup-free face and tousled locks. Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z have stepped out after lying low in the wake of Hurricane Sandy to enjoy a date night at a basketball game in Brooklyn. The New Yorkers ventured to the new Barclays Centre, where a few weeks earlier Jay-Z had performed a string of sell-out shows, to sit front row for the game between the Brooklyn Nets and the Toronto Raptors.

Beyonce, 31, looked her usual stylish self in a striking, and on-trend - white and burgundy geometric patterned jumpsuit, and, as a nod to the upcoming Presidential election, which takes place tomorrow (Tuesday 6 November), Beyonce wore her Obama hoop earrings designed by Erika Pena.

The singer also showed off her new fringe, or bangs, if you will, as she sat courtside next to her rapper hubby, who looked casual in camouflage trousers, a black top and Nike high tops.

Oh lord….well, apparently when superstar couple, Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z Carter gave birth to a child, they had far grander plans than the average parents for their lovely baby. The child was first saddled with an unusual name, Blue Ivy( well, no stranger than other celebrity baby names out there, eg, blanket, rice,etc:)) and then since January 2012, which was when Beyonce gave birth to the most awaited celebrity baby in the world, the powerful parents have been hoping to patent the name. The trademark was filed some weeks after their daughter was born, but the petition ran into problems when they discovered that name was already being used by a Boston, Massachusetts wedding and event planner, who goes by the name “Blue Ivy Events.”

The ruling against Beyonce and Jay-Z means that the US Patent and Trademark Office doesn’t think the celebrity couple have any legal rights to the name Blue Ivy. The petition to trademark Blue Ivy likely came after fashion designer Joseph Mbeh submitted his own application to trademark the name “Blue Ivy Carter NYC,” as well as the name “Blue Ivy Carter Glory V” for use in a line of fragrances. The trademark denied both filings, citing that the name belonged to a celebrity baby, and that consumers may assume that the products were approved by the baby’s parents. The US Patents and Trademark Office did not forbid the couple from using the name Blue Ivy in other business projects, although it will not have a trademark.

Nah, no trademark? Bey isn’t going to be happy with this decision. She likes her things special and perfect. How then can she launch her own special line of baby products in Blue Ivy’s name? I know she would appeal. All the sequined baby clothes, perfumes and baby glitter make up plans are going down the drain…….Lmao… #OkBye
