The plot thickens! After the Internet sensationally went into overload over rumours that Beyonce Knowles had given birth to her baby, reports have now suggested that the Best Thing I Never Had singer is still very much pregnant and keeping the details private.
US showbiz types are now wondering what it will take for the notoriously private Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z to sell pictures of Bey with her little one in the traditional celeb ‘mother and baby’ spread that we’ve become so well accustomed to.
The trouble is, reports suggest that several US mags have already put in offers for the special snaps, but haven’t heard a peep from Bey and Jay-Z’s reps. Many magazine deals will specify exclusive terms – meaning that the new baby would not be able to be seen before, during and sometimes even for a period after the release of the magazine.
We wonder if Beyonce would ever sell any snaps of the infant, perhaps she’ll do a Michael Jackson and make her baby wear some interesting masks?! While we appreciate the couple’s need for privacy, we’d love to see the little one as soon as we possibly can.
A showbiz insider has speculated in The Huffington Post that Beyonce and Jay-Z are likely to give the pictures away, “If Beyonce and Jay-Z do decide to share their child with the world, they will probably go the same route as Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Instead of selling the images to a weekly publication, they would give them away for nothing to lock in a cover of a monthly like Vanity Fair. But knowing this couple, it is unlikely we will ever see a staged picture of the child.”
Of course they could also do what Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie did with the pictures of twins Knox and Vivienne and give any money they make from pictures of their child to charity. Are you desperate to see baby Beyonce, or do you respect Beyonce’s desire to keep her baby out of the public eye?
