'When Knowles and boyfriend Jay-Z (real name Shawn Carter) looked like they were headed for splitsville, she took him to Mexico to patch up their relationship,' a source close to the singer told

'To make things all the more romantic, she booked an exclusive $11,000-a-night villa in Punta de Mita and topped things off by getting him ticket to a Coldplay concert in Mexico City.

'The rest of the time they either hung out by the pool or hit the beach, where the two of them were said to be constantly hugging, smiling and looking very in love,' added the source.
